Ange began her journey in Myotherapy in 2015, following a dedicated 15-year career as a professional chef.
Throughout her time in the high-pressure kitchen environment, she relied on Myotherapy to manage her physical health and recover from work related injuries.
This personal experience gave her a deep understanding that injury and physical strain aren't limited to athletes- people from all walks of life can experience pain, tension and dysfunction due to the demands of modern life and work.
Now based in the Northern Rivers, Ange is a Melbourne trained Myotherapist with nearly a decade of experience working in a leading Sports Injury Clinic alongside some of Melbourne's top Physiotherapists. Her extensive knowledge enables her to assess, treat and rehabilitate a wide range of musculoskeletal issues.
Ange is an intuitive and highly skilled hands- on practitioner with the natural ability to identify and target the source of dysfunction.
She works deeply and deliberately, engaging the tissue with sustained holds to deactivate trigger points and applying broad, slow pressure to improve circulation and relieve tight, sore and fatigued muscles.
While her hands are her primary tools, Ange is also trained in a range of complementary modalities, including:
* Advanced Dry Needling- to precisely target and eliminate muscle trigger points and improve blood flow to restricted tissue.
* Cupping Therapy (Static and Dynamic) - to release restricted fascia and enhance mobility.
* Joint Mobilisation - to restore movement in areas like the hips and shoulders after muscle tightness has caused limited range of motion.
* Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS)- to activate underperforming muscles affected by pain or dysfunction.
* Heat Therapy (Hot Stones)- to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and release deep-seeded tension.
* Fascial Release Tools- to address the body's intricate network of connective tissue for holistic results.
Perfect for follow up sessions and to keep on top of recovering injuries.
Recommend for initial consultations and for those who like to have regular maintenance treatments.
If you have a lot going on, perhaps this is the one for you.
